OUUUCCCHHHHH......
that was me 2 miles into my untill-then-very-satsfying-run when suddenly the iliotibial band (IT band for short) by my left knee decided to act up...i had no choice but to walk all the way back. that wouldn't have been half as bad if 5 mins into the walk the trail hadn't become pitch dark with various creatures of the dark clamouring loud enough to make my ears hurt. as far as i could see (which wasnt too far) i was all alone. limping my way to civilization was taking far too long. i was more scared than i have ever been in my entire life. if it wasnt for good ol hanuman chalisa, i just do not know what i would have done. phew!im glad thats over. never was i gladder to see my little car.
i swear i will never run alone after 8 pm on a trail ever again.ouccchhhh!

Those poor creatures of the dark... you know why they were clamouring loudly? Coz you injured leg was causing havoc for them. Flip flop stamp stomp ouch! Next time take a bodyguard along :)
drat! where were u when i needed a bodyguard...wouldve been very interesting to see u all suited up in flouroscent colours, with night vision goggles, set to face all dark evil in your favourite kung fu stance :-D
